What you have just described sounds exactly like a cluster headache. As far as caffeine goes; I believe it constricts the blood vessels in the brain. This would be a good thing because during a cluster attack the blood vessels are dialating. Again, I think this is what happens. Keep watching the board for more responses to your question. Also, it may be a good idea for you to seek out a Neurologist. Try to find one that knows what a cluster headache is. This may prove to be no easy task. Good Luck. Visit and post often.
