I have just found this site today and like you I feel some relief knowing I am not alone. I was interested in the pattern of your CH episodes.
I have had Chs for 11 years. I am now 44. I get them in two bouts a year, the change of seasons in Autumn and Spring (Australia).
I get one headache then another a week later, then one four days later then two days, then daily, then two daily increasing until the pain is constant. I have just ended an 8 week episode and I have lost13 kilograms. I have had three visits to hospital in that time for constant treatment of Pethedine. Unfortunately we have not been able to find any effective treatment. Dr keeps telling me each one is only effective for 80% of people. I seem to be contstantly in the 20%...
