Sounds like you may have Cluster Headaches to me. If you haven't already done so, I'd get to a neuro. who is familiar with CH and get the appropriate tests done to rule out other nasty stuff. In addition, you will see lots of refs. in past posts to some things a lot of us have done to help cope and to relieve the pain; 02, water, water, water, Imitrex, etc.
