To those of you that responded to me Big Headache,
I wanted to let you know that last Monday I'd
called the Doctor at home needing help. He called
in Predisone. I started out at 100 mg first day
then gradually decreased as the week went on. I had
my first night of pain free sleep in over three weeks,
it has been like Heaven. I still feel at times during
the day that it's trying to buss in, I may get a
light one around 6:30 or so in the evening, but now
instead of the injection and can take 1 imitrex and
I'm doing fine.
I know that this can swing the other way, but I wanted
to give courage to those who feel no hope that sometimes
someting might work. I told the Dr. that I was afraid
that they would start up again over the weekend because
that is when I'd run out of predisone and he reasured
me to call him, he'd have his beeper. I guess, I feel
that I know he's caring and is looking out for me.
I told him that I've used this website and I've learned
alot about CH, different ways of treating etc. He asked
me how he was doing. I told him he's right on.
Pray mine keeps under control and I'll pray for all
of you.
