Hi Ellen, just a note to say I also have the syndrome. I sweat, the lid swells, the tears run, (eventually the nose runs). I've read the pupil narrows, but can't bear the light to check it out. After an extended episode, it takes my face a while to really look right. The least of my concerns after the pain stops!
