While I haven't heard of any research indicating that there's a direct link, it wouldn't surprise me to find that people who are of an "allergic type" would also have CH. Some of the previous posts (an admittedly small sample) show a history of allergies. I have allergies, and had desensitization injections as a child. I still have allergies, including a violent one to shellfish. My episodes also seem to come when the weather changes. For example, my recent episode started back on June 25, when it got incredibly hot and muggy here in the Washington, D.C. area. I have noticed that in exceptionally cold weather I have also tended to have them.
