Hi all,
I find that doing pushups at the start of a CH helps.
It doesn't end it for good, but gives me a few moments pain-free to regroup.
Then I roll on my head and/or pinch the bridge of the nose and/or pinch the carotid artery, neck area on the side of the CH.
All this helps to gradually reduce the CH and sometimes nip it in the bud. Most the time, this keeps the CH to a 5 on a 10-point scale.
But I wonder what effects it has on the cycle since I typically get as many as 10 to 15 a day. (I recently had a 3 week period where I didn't get more than an hour or so of sleep at one time.)
In other words, I wonder if this results in many 5's a day as opposed to just a couple 8's to 10's?

Anyway, other strength training exercise may help too. I've experimented with situps and curls, but pushups seem to work the fastest in terms of getting a few moments of pain-free relief.

Take care, end,jh.
