I have had chronic clusters for nearly 10 years now. A little over two years ago I overdid the ergot while outdoors in the heat (got a headache while playing golf in Tucson in the summer) and the result was heat exhaustion. I have had a loud ringing in my ears ever since. Be very careful about ergot in the heat!
