Kim Y,
No,I never experienced the jaw pain from CH.
But I had a similar experience at the dentist's office.
The dental assistant had her fingers in my mouth for about 10 minutes while she held a wad of putty to take a mold of my teeth. The natural reaction to something in your mouth is to produce saliva that collects and makes one swallow. And everytime I swallowed, the back of my tongue licked her fingers. This went on for several minutes. Honest I wasn't trying to do this. It was just TOOO ridiculous. It was all I could do to hold back from busting out laughing. I was helpless to stop it, and she was either used to it, or thought I was a pervert and should be ignored. But I laughed like crazy once I was out of the office.
Good luck on your treatment. I hope it is a serious treatment and not a "gag" (sorry).
Steve W.
