Possible that the pain is a separate issue-TMJ--but may also be an part of CH. The nerves cluster involved in CH comes down the area around the temple and then splits into two branches, one each to the upper and lower jaw.

I can "measure" the intensity of an attack by how many teeth are hurting and/or whether it's upper and/or lower jaw.

By the way, I've noticed several folks writing about their pain scale; how to rate intensity. Mine is: how many tissues did I use. When my nose is running hard it's common to have a "12 tissues" or whatever!
