I hear ya hub. When a HA hits, it's no holds barred, anything goes. That's why I've never worried about taking 3 or 4 times the max dose of cafergot. Loose a few fingers or toes, who cares as long as I beat the headache. Just a lot more effective things to use than narcs. I went the darvocette route once. It hid the start of the headache and when the pain finally broke through the narc. it was too late to use the cafergot effectively. Full blown 10. Decided to save the rest of the darvocette for recreational use (addictive personality you know).
