Well, fellow ch'ers . I finally had it. I have read on this board of others who have these attacks, but in the past mine were always what I would consider headaches. I got woke up from a nap today by the phone. An wham!. It hit me. I felt like a red hot poker was stuck in my temple and jaw. It was horrible. I cried which only hurt more. The thing is, I would not call this a headache but an attack. In the 4 months I have been having all the terrible headaches, now why am I suddenly getting this attack? Does that mean I am going to be in for more of these, or is it likely a one-time thing? I know you can't predict, but I feel better knowing I have a place to post with people who care. After 30 minutes and a Maxalt, it left. I just hope this is the DEMON'S last Hurrah before it leaves for good. I could not stand many more like this. My eyeball still hurts. I wonder if getting woke up from my nap could of brought this on? Anyone ever have that happen to them? Thanks for letting me post.
