I had an MRI 10 years ago to rule out tumor during the initial diagnosis of CH. Once a firm diagnosis has been reached, follow-up MRI's, I'm told, are a waste of time and money. Nothing up there is going to change from having the CH's.
I'm no doctor, but my opinion is this. If you are sure your symptoms match those of a cluster headache, forget about MRI follow-ups UNLESS there is a substantial change in the TYPE of headache you are having.
