There is NO chance for me to lay down during an attack.
After getting the Imigran injection it still takes some
minutes for it to work and kill the beast, so I pace
from bedroom to livingroom, sometimes with a little knocking
the head to the doorframes. In the livingroom I tent to drop to
my knees and elbows and hitting the head on the floor for some
time. This is better than hitting it against the
doorframes, since I have a thick carpet in the living room.
Then I get up again, pace-phase two. It takes me to the kitchen,
drinking a pint of water in one go. Back to the living room and some
more headbanging on the floor. Pace-phase three takes me to the bathroom
and back to the livingroom. There I go into a position on my knees with the
shoulders to the ground. Since I am very exhausted by this time, there
is no more headbanging. Normally the Imigran kicks in by now and I start
yawning and get tired. Some more minutes in this position and I am
finally able to lay down in bed again and get some more sleep, either
until morning or until the demon strikes again.
I only had one attack so far, where I was able to stay in bed and fall
asleep within minutes again.
As you can see, laying down is not an option for me...

Wishing you painfree times,

Lars
