This is a VERY interesting theory. Could it really be THAT simple? I've always been a devout coward when it comes to the dentist, so they give me novicane before they even look in my mouth - and thinking back there have been times when the shot hurt (usually THAT part doesn't bother me). Could it be.......
Something else - My bite has been "off" since I was a kid, but never got around to getting braces, so it's still off. I've been told I grind my teeth during sleep, so for a long time I slept with a football mouthpiece in my mouth at night (too cheap to go to the dentist and have one made).
Maybe we should take this and do a survey on it. So far everyone who has answered has HAD something to do with the dentist BEFORE the CH started.
