Calan 240SR (Verapamil)

Hi Gang:

Need your advice on Verapamil. Been a long time
since I've taken any. The shadows are getting bad.
No actual breakthrough headaches yet. I had the Doc
write me an rx for the 240SR. About the only thing
the Pharmacist said was take with food and may cause
drowsiness. I was thinking maybe 1/2 tab for 2
or 3 days then 1 tab daily as directed. What are the
side effects?
