Do you know that if you eat lots of parsely with
garlic it will help control the odor? They also
make a tablet called Breath Assure which is no more
than Parsely Oil, which is the same principle. Personally
I love the taste of garlic but if you have problems
eating it in cooking try this recipe:
wash 4-5 heads of garlic and remove roots and excess peel
leaving heads intact (yes the entire bulb)
Parboil in boiling salted water for about five minutes
Drain and place in a clean mason jar
Over the garlic bulbs, pour a hot brine made of
1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup white vinegar
Let cool and store in a dark cupboard about a week
Move to the refrigerator.
To eat, break off a clove andpinch to remove
from the skins. Eat the cloves with sandwiches
as a pickle condiment or mince into salad dressing
or drop into a martini or bloody mary
Warning: these are addictive and delicious but will
cause you to (pardon my crudity) fart a LOT so use
caution!
