Reading this board is a trigger for me too, but for a completely different reson. When in a cycle, staring at computer screens (any kind I've tried so far) will trigger an attack if I keep it up for more than 45 minutes.
Still, I read the postings each morning, a little at a time. The board is a great comfort to me, it's a bulwark against self pity perhaps - and it makes me feel less singled out by a cruel fate.
I have noticed that serveral people have made the same complaints that you present, but honestly, I don't get it. There is MUCH more caring and support here than rudeness and inconsideration. OK, some are a bit too quick to bare their claws ('self included), but we are after all human. Life is full of pain and hurting, but I find less here on the board than most other places (oh no, I don't meen the Demon!). Perhaps I'm insensitive.
I'm sorry you feel offended, and certainly don't want to add to it. Just want to tell you all I appreciate you for being here for me. That's the way I feel.
