Forgive me for speaking out of school and for presenting another's point, or perhaps more accurately, my take on another's point.
DJ has stated on several occasions that the WILL NOT censor this site in any way. I take that to mean that he won't attempt to determine 'who is allowed to use this site' as well. Among the many, many things I admire DJ for, his strength of character in remaining 'above the fray' and refraining from commenting on every silly little flare-up that occurs here ranks highly. If I may overextend my rights briefly, I believe that DJ's position is that he created this site for US. You will never see or hear him say MY site, but only OUR site. He is trusting in our maturity, common bond and focus to self-monitor. That doesn't mean monitor each other, but monitor ourselves. Perhaps we (yes, we, for I include myself) might consider trying to live up to that faith.
Let's xpress our appreciation to DJ for this home through our actions here. I'm betting he would consider that more than ample thanks.
