I also was in a car accident a year or so before my headaches started. Mine start exactly like yours. I know when I start rubbing my neck it is time to grab the ice. I can stop up to 85% of my headaches with ice if I am on Lopressor (vas constrictor) at the same time. Frozen peas are my favorite form of ice as they conform to the neck so well and do not dig in to the tender spots. Let's pray this continues to work for us. I am in my 10th yr.
