No one of you all tried paracetamol (english name, don't know the US name) the same you give to your kids when they got any kind of fever.
For me it reduces the intensity of the attack. Not a lot, but about 30% less.
Let me know.....
Then i give u some info on my kind of CH:

i spent 25 years of my life with this.... 1m actually 46 I have a 2 month sequence every year, with 4 attacks a night and one during the day. the duration is approx 1 hour.i never found radical treatment
about this, every person is different from
each other.....
i can give only 2 tips to hevitate the start of the sequence:
- never stay in closed rooms with few oxigen (easy to tell, not to do....)
- never use products to help your nose when u take a cold (ex Vicks Vaporub, nasal sprays)

During the attacks.....
- never stay near a knife or a gun ......:-)
- try with autohipnosys (not too good, but helps to reach the end.....)
- a lot of oxygen
- If Imigran or Imitrex cannot help you (the same for me...).remember: if it does not function completely, DO NOT continue to USE it!
- try (seems stupid, but is not) paracetamolo (Yes, the same you use for kids, but 1000 mg)
- sit down and do not move yourself
- if possible stay completely alone (others cannot help u, and suffer with u if they see your pain....
- stay only in pants, don't dress more
- left the window always open

Sorry for poor english, ciao from an Italian CH sufferer
