Joes,
Actually, it was the ringing in my ear, or tinnitus, that first sent me to the doctor what seems like three lifetimes ago, but is actually five years ago.
He said it was probably due to an inner ear infection "or something" -- which translates to "I don't have a clue."
It was shortly after that that mild chs first started, escalating every year since then to the point where I am now borderline chronic.
And yes, I still do get the tinnitus, usually around the same time each day, and always when the barometric pressure changes, which is also when I get the demons.
Evidentally, tinnitus is a vastly mysterious thing, because the only response I get now when I mention it is a sort of benign smile. Tinnitus can really awful, I understand -- loud, insidious and persistent -- and drive one around the bend, I've heard.
Ken
