I have used it in the past but will no longer take it. Please search out an article which appeared in either the March or April 1999 edition of Glamour magazine. This article scared the s#^% out of me and I will not go near this drug again. The article basically followed a young woman who was given Stadol NS for chronic headache (migraine, I believe) She is now being treated at a methedone clinic to get off the stuff. Apparently, Stadol NS has only been given FDA approval for treatment of acute pain...doctors are using it as an "off-book" treatment for chronic pain such as Migraine/cluster headache. I don't mean to alarm anyone but this article was definitely worth the read. I don't know if you can find the article on line...maybe at the library, or from Glamour magazine itself. It is REALLY worth the few minutes it takes to read it! Good luck!!!!
