My best friend has been diagnosed with FM and they're pretty well in the same boat that we are. Nobody knows what causes it and they don't know what to do for it.

She said there is someone in Spain doing some research - he thinks it's caused from "flat" blood cells.

But she and I compare symtoms (we're both getting old and after we talk about her grandkids, we usually get on our ailments - OK). The only thing we can find in common is that we both hurt and can't get anything to help it.

We've been friends for 50+ years and both have always been very healthy and outgoing and the year we both hit 50, we both came down with unrearched illnesses. What are the odds?

Anyhow, Jackie, I don't think the two diseases are related, but who knows. The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome doesn't always go with the FM (that's what Bev said), but I'm not sure that it doesn't come with both CH and FM at times. There are days when I can hardly make myself move and then some days are very good. Go figure.

Maybe someday the mystery will be solved.

Hugs BD
