I know all u said. i'm a 46 male from Italy, suffering CH from about 25 years. The thing that always helped me is that attacks hurts me 4 times a night, but very few during the day. (then i can work, but a bit sleepy...:-) )
Are u sure that the "work" trigger is heat, and not the Oxigen deficiency?
If he can, tell him to open the nearest window at work, altough this rise the heat.
I've high blood pressure too (and no thing can
slow down 115/180) But i've found that some betablocker can help the start CH sequence. Try to change Ziac with other betablocker, or suspend it for a while, if he can)
ACE inhibitors (my point of view) otherwise can help to shorten the sequence.
.....the psychological effects..... hard to help you in here.... We CH are all different from each other.... i absolutely want (and say to my wife and daugter) to stay alone, and then, during a CH attack, i hate them because they leave me alone...a bit stupid uh?!? Sex?! what is sex during a sequence?!?! don't know this word.
Weekend?!?! weekend is the period of the week when i can sleep a bit more....
The only relief i have during an attack, may be stupid, but is not, is giving from my dogs, that stay near me, sometimes weeping with me.
I know how hard is the life with us, but the better trick for you "family supporters" is to ignore us during the attack, and help in remission
Sorry for poor english, good luck to you and your hubby.
