Carl,
My heart goes out to you and I only want to say this prayer for you.
Gracious God, heavenly Father, we must confess that sometimes we are upset by the many changes that come in life. We find it difficult to make the necessary adjustments. We do not ask to understand, but help us, I pray to You, always to realize that no matter what happens to Carl, and what changes must be made, You still love him and will make every experience work together for the his good.
Give him the faith to trust Your promise, "His grace is sufficient for you." In mercy forgive all grumbling and compalining of which he has been guilty of in the past. Teach him to follow the example of Jesus, our Savior and Lord, who in trial and tribulation said, "Not My will, but Thine, be done." In that spirt he shall be able to meet whatever life has in store for him. For Jesus' sake. AMEN.

Divine Savior, how patient You have been with us! Too many times we have failed You, yet You have not turned from us, but with compassion You have sought us and drawn us to Your forgiving heart. How thankful I am that You have tenderly pleaded with us through Your Work and Your Christian church! Grant that we may learn from you to be patient with others, thoughtful and considerate, even though they irritate, upset, and disturb our peace of mind. Remove from our hearts all resentment toward those who provoke us by word and action. Do not let us return evil for evil, unkindness for unkindness, harsh words and caustic comments.
When You, gracious Savior, were mistreated, misunderstood, hurt and bruised in body and sorrowful in soul, You prayed: "Father, forgive them." Grant me the grace to face the many vexing problems of the day with patience and find in You rest and peace and contentment. Let me lean on You for strength and guidance and abide Your time, Savior and Lord. AMEN

We must pray for CARL and pray for grace to be patient with him. In time CARL will let us know where he is but he must find it within himself to know that we are truly here to help so that is why I typed the prayer for grace to adjust himself. Carl will realize that we are truly a family but he must do it on his own. I love you all.
