No need to apologize for the length todd. Sounds like a wonderful experience; I am touched. I think comfort, care and empathy are innate in all humans. This is true when disasters strike,such as the Khobei(?) earthquake incidence; reporters said even x cons, drunks, and rich business men helped in rescue efforts. I guess there is a bit of good and Bad in all of us.
