Dame,
Whenever you're on the main message board page, put your cursor in the middle of the page somewhere and right click. If you're using Internet Explorer, choose "Refresh". If you're using Netscape, choose "Reload" or "Reload Frame".
Your post is instant, you just can't see it until you reload the page from the server. If you don't reload, you're seeing the page from your local cache (which was stored before you made your post).
