I feel so bad for you. What a horrible experience, how do people like that live with themselves? Now in addition to everything else, you have to deal with replacing all these things like your drivers license, credit cards, etc..Also, with credit cards I think you are only responsible for the first $50.,but unfortunately with Debit cards, you are responsible for everything. In other words there is no insurance protection. That is the downside of debit cards.
My pocketbook stolen many many years ago in the New York subway. I didn't have much, but still it's an awful feeling.
