Yes, my husband Mike uses relaxation all the time to fight the Beast. He gets an ice pack, one of those gel-filled thingys, wraps it in a tea towel and puts it on the back of his neck and tries to keep himself as cool as possible. He'll go stand in the unheated garage in the winter - he really heats up. Take a hit of his O2 and just try to stay calm. It's best if you can be alone so that you can hold your focus on staying calm. He used to get frustrated but found that only made it worse. None of the meds have worked for him either, but he's had huge success from the water treatment. Type "water" in the search button above on this page and read the memo from Dr. Jerry last Oct./Nov for details and precautions. It's been amazing for him. Broke his cycle in two days, completely ended it within a week but the secret is drinking enough of it. You have to stick with it if it is going to work for you. It doesn't work for everyone but it's sure worth a shot.
