I have had migraines for 13years and crossed over to chronic clusters 10months ago. (Who ever thought migraines were bad never experienced a cluster!) It has been 10 months of pure hell, which all of you understand. It is truly wonderful to have people who DO understand. Thank you again for sharing your lives...it is truly a saving grace for me.
Nothing really helps; just knocks down the pain and I try to keep functioning. I have worked throughout this long ordeal. Of course, my personality isn't what it used to be thanks to the intractable pain, clusters, and the high dose steriods. Oh yes, Prednisone! Indeed it has been the only drug to help but it does wonders for your personality! I am not trying to whine. I work as a RN and love the job I do. Now I have an employer harrassing me regarding about my poor interpersonal skills and morale; not my job performance.
Some people have advised me that I have a potential ADA case due to my illness / clusters. I truly want my health and my position. Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks for the input and support.
