My first CH was in the Spring for a couple of years then it changed to the end of Autum and the last time it was during the first two months of the year. A severe shock brought the last attack on (6 weeks). I don't know how the cycle was broken, I think it just finished. I get constant pangs in my left eye but I put up with them. I am sick of taking medication for CH's. I tried aromatherapy and guess what the "aroma" gave me a Cluster from hell.
I am still in the dark as to what triggers them and what stops them. I will be admitted to hospital the next time I get them so the docotors can see how I am when I have one. They went through my family history and I found out that my mother, her sister and my two other sisters all suffer from headaches but a different form. A cat scan was found clear. I don't know if it takes x amount of time to build up in my system or what. I just thank God every day when I wake up normally.
