Both my parents are from Ireland, making me first generation in this country. To my knowledge no one in my family living here or there has ever suffered from these headaches. My dad is from Longford and my mom is from Cliften, CO Galway. I have been to Ireland many times, last being in 1994 on my honeymoon which is where my headpain began. Possibily I am the only person who has gone to Ireland and came back with the headaches. I kept thinking it was jetlag, changes in the weather, altitudes in some of the higher elevations in the country, etc...it turned out to be a brain tumor and cluster headaches hand in hand, tumor is long gone following surgery but the clusters have come to stay.....if you are familar with Brendan Grace the irish comic he does a piece which states "laughter is the food of the soul..you can not live without it"..how true...be well. Anne
