I found that codine helped but you become amune to it. I refused steriods because of their side effects. I will try oxygen the next time. The preventative beta blockers did nothing for me. I have never become addicted to any prescribed medication but what worried me was the amount of medicaton that is addictive. Because of the nature of clusters most medicines have a max of eg. 6 a day but what happens if you are getting 10 ch's a day. That is my main gripe with doctors. So far, the cycle always finished itself before I found anything that would work. I am still looking.
