My attacks started again last Thursday. Since then, I have awaken at least once a night with a headache. Last night it was three times and I've already had two at work today. I had been cluster-free for over a year and thought maybe it was finally over. I guess I can only wish for that.
I'm writing to ask you all where you think I should turn from here. I have been to so many doctors in the past that I probably cannot name them all. I have had all sorts of tests as well. It wasn't until about 3 years ago that someone FINALLY diagnosed me with clusters. I have got to find some relief whether it be oxygen, painkillers (which by the way are a joke when it comes to clusters) or just about anything. What type of doctor should I see this time? Should I give a neurologist another shot now that I know what this is or should I just see a GP? Any help would be greatly appreciated. These things are driving me crazy. I am pain-free right this minute but the last one just went away 30 minutes ago so hopefully I'll have a break for a few hours anyway.
