I got the impresssion from the original posting that Richard's doctor isn't just experimenting and that he actually knows what he's doing. My doctor does the same thing and I consider it a benefit. If I run into anything that may be a serious problem, I e-mail him about it and he replies within hours and, if necessary, he'll make an appointment for me the next day. Getting a regular appointment could take three to six weeks, not to mention the hassle of getting to his office plus the 45-minute wait in his office to see him. Unless I'm late, because then he'll be on time and i will have missed my appointment and have to wait another three to six weeks.
