Duke:

For what it's worth. You may have a medical discrimination case against them.

For instance, if they knew before they hired you or even after that you suffered from CH and your medical claims were getting expensive for the company's insurance carrier and therefore, was going up on the company's premimums and by firing you would save them money for insurance, then you deffinately have a case.

Like for instance. If you were hired and developed cancer or AIDS of course your treatment would be very expensive. They would like to find a way to terminate you in order to save on insurance premimums. (They may even try to blindside the issue by saying you were doing somethin against co policy, not doing your job, made up reasons to terminate you trying not to act like it was because of your illness.) But, an employer cannot terminate you because of a illness just to save money on insurance. They could let you go maybe, but they would have to continue your insurance coverage. That happened at a hospital I worked when a VP got AIDS. They could not just drop him like a hot potato. He no longer worked for the hospital, however, the hospital's insurance covered him until he died from complications of AIDS.

Just a thought, I'm no lawyer, but I would pursue it.

Good Luck
