I’ve never heard of Triamcinolone before, but, according to the United States Pharmacopeia, it’s “an adrenocorticoid used to provide relief for inflamed areas of the body.” My guess is that it won’t work. Indomethacin doesn’t work for me, but it may work for your friend. Also, Prednisone didn’t work for me when used by itself. However, when it was combined with 240 mg. of Verapamil twice a day, it worked liked magic. Although the cluster attacks still woke me up (over the course of the 43 years that I’ve suffered from clusters, I’ve trained myself to wake up at the slightest hint of cluster pain), I was able to roll over and go back to sleep. What a blessing!
