Gary:

I read your post several hours after posting about a new organization MOAN & GROAN in response to someone's post about meds and sex (if you haven't read it, scroll down, please). Although I do agree, to an extent, on what you are saying, I hope you are not saying that posts "unrelated" to ch should not be made (i.e., jokes, poems, "sex related articles", etc.). Once in awhile, I will post with what I think is funny and may not be related to chs at all. If it makes just ONE person laugh in their time of pain, I am glad I posted it. I've been waiting for "hate posts" regarding MOAN & GROAN. I think I went off the deep end with that one, and I apologize for offending anyone (esp. BarbD). I guess my excuse is the heat is getting to me!!! Anyway. I think levity is needed from time to time, and that's one of the reasons I continue to visit the site. If it was just serious and depressing posts one after the other, I'd probably hang it up. I don't think you meant for the "jokes, etc." to be eliminated. But, that is 'more stuff' you have to read through and inconsequential to cluster headaches. Please, just clarify for me. Thanks,

Cathy

p.s.---I agree with the titling of posts; if those were more specific instead of keeping the same sublject line, people could "pass over" those subjects that are of no interest to them, thus not taking up as much time. As for the "newbies" who ask a lot of questions, even if there is information on the archives or guest book or medical infor., if someone poses a question and I feel I can answer it or give my opinion, I will, no matter what time it takes. I know I didn't read everything when I first got hooked in Feb. And still haven't. I don't think anyone's questions or comments ( or jokes or poems) are unnecessary. There. I will get off the podium for now.
