Triamcinolone is a steroid, similar to prednisone. It goes by the brand name Aristocort (at least that's the one I write for...there may be other names) in the U.S. If prednisone didn't work for you, it may be worth a try. Various steroids do act on slightly different locations...and a steroid burst is certainly worth a try to break a cluster cycle. Side effects will be similar.
