I don't think the eye twitch is something to worry about. I sometimes get it before and after like Amanda. I suppose it's the eye adjusting to the change in pressure during the dilation and constriction phases.
As to going out, it would seem to depend on if you are up to it physically and emotionally. Are you okay to drive, or do you have other transport? Are you still toughing it out or have you used meds? It may do you good to get out as long as you feel safe and secure, and you know that better than any of us.
