During my last bout of ch in Feb., I asked my dr. for Imitrex, as the chs were not very intense and not frequent. After they started coming often and nastier, he gave me Amerge, hoping that would keep them away. I started off with 1 Amerge a day. Didn't work. So, we upped it to 2 a day. Still didn't work. I quickly canned that treatment for my old standby, lithium. Not a problem after that. The Imitrex worked great, don't get me wrong, but I had no luck with Amerge. I found it useless.
