I agree, some old stuff is ridiculous, and some of the writings referenced have bogus info, but there is also *some* good info there, although it may not be readily apparent. Sometimes, without knowledge of the *bogus* past history, the present can be affected. Example, I try not to use the phrase "rule of thumb", Why?, because I have heard that in the past, it was used to indicate the acceptable diameter of the stick that you could beat your wife with. All I was trying to say is that without past information, as flawed as it may be, it is needed to provide better insite into the present and future. And *we* should always strive to keep our minds open. Who knows, in ten years, all of the medication ever listed on the CH board may be considered "ridiculous", lets keep our fingers crossed!
