On Aug. 1st you posted in reponse to Troy posting. You discussed the "cliques" you felt were part of ch.com. I also sensed the "cliques" when I first starting posting. BUT, I was never as belligerent as these 2 sentences in your post are.
Maybe it is because I have had some wonderful conversations with these "groupies", either on the phone, face to face or through e-mail. I have learned to "tear down the wall" and post more, e-mail more and talk more. It took almost 3 months. I discovered today that I may part of this so-called clique. I guess if I am, so be it. All I can say is that I see this clique growing in numbers by the week. I have seen more new names on posts over the past month or so that it makes me wonder how anyone can think we are just this assemblage of inconsiderate people, who will not help out Carl because he is not "one of us"!! Just because no one responded to Carl D. or his request does not mean that we, collectively, are not interested or do not care. I know of many people who are trying to help Carl out or have offered to. However, your blaming the non-response to Carl's posts to our "bonding" within ch.com is bull-shit. (Sorry to those who have never heard that kind of language from me....)
I firmly believe that if someone, including yourself, comes to this website with the right attitude and in the correct frame of mind, he or she will not only find compassionate and caring people, but will want to return that compassion and care 100 times over. Something to think about, Ted3.
