no power

I'd like to know if what I'm experiencing today is a common symptom of CH or something else. I don't often get this set of symptoms. Usually just ordinary daily shadows leading into the bad stuff. But like I said, today I have this set of symptoms I haven't experienced for sometime.

I have no energy any where in my body, breathing is an effort, if I move if I breath I can feel the pain lurking ready to leap out and take over. I have to keep very still and quiet and not breath (well maybe not quite not breathing, just slow and careful so as not to use any power or disturb the pain monster) I sit staring at the TV and there's nothing but rubbish on and I am bored out of my mind with this inactivity. I want to move yet I dare not, indeed when I do move about the apartment my left leg drags a bit.

I just tried to sleep it off. I collapsed on to my bed and was instantly asleep. Exactly one hour later I'm awake and I'm weaker and the pain is waking up. My wife just hugged and kissed me and she sympathises but...

So, is this no power stuff 'normal'? In the past this feeling can last for days before finally giving me a major 9 or 10 kip. Don't know whether to preempt it by forcing myself to move and do some physical work and bring on the pain, or wait it out hoping it will pass. Hmm, I'll wait it out I feel too weak to do anything. Now I'm just staring at the PC monitor. I got to laugh at this, I feel an idiot just sitting here, I'm used to pacing. Writing this and posting it has relieved some tension in my mind. I hate this weakness I hate knowing how it will end.

Love to all of you

David Mc
