PDR stands for Physicians Desk Reference and is the book containing all the information for each and every drug...side effects, dosages, shape and color of medicine, etc. It is merely a compellation of all those tiny inserts that come with the drugs. There is also a "generic" or layman's book available that simplifies the drug information.
