Bill-

I don't get it either. Maybe with all
a physician has to remember it's selfish
of me to assume or expect such a seemingly
simple thing be known. Since at least 1997
Imitrex injection has been approved for use
in cluster headaches//

Imitrex injection is indicated for
1)the acute treatment of migraine attacks
with or without auora and 2)the acute
treatment of cluster headache episodes.

Clinical Studies//Cluster Headaches//
The efficiency of IMITREX Injection
in acute treatment of cluster headache
was demonstrated in two randomized,
double blind , placebo controlled, two-
period crossover trials. Patients age
21 to 65 were enrolled and were instructed
to treat a moderate to very severe headache
within 10 minutes of onset. Headache relief
was defined as a reduction in headache severity
to mild or no pain. In both trials, the
proportion of individuals gaining relief at
10 or 15 minutes was significantly greater
among patients receiving 6mg of IMITREX
Injection compared to those who received
placebo. Source//1997 Physicians Desk
Reference. The article does go on
further.

Why don't they get it? WHY?
