I suggest you try the following: Keep always 2 windows open. One with the message board and the other with any message that opened. Then, if a msg doesn't open when you click on it, read it's number from the status bar at the bottom of the browser window and insert it in the location (or address) box of the 'message' window, replacing the old msg number there. Then, hopefully, the message will load after you hit Return. Also, the old trick of right clicking on a message and then selecting 'Open in New Window' is still working (a least on my system).
OR
Use Netscape 4.61 - it works fine for me.
