I am episodic. My cycle lasts exactly 1 month
whether I take verapamil or not. If I take verapamil for that month ( 480 mg - long lasting vesion) I will get almost no headaches. When my cycle is over I stop taking the verapamil immediately without tapering. I beleive a rebound
headache has more to do with an abortive than a
preventative. Verapamil is a preventative.
