I've been suffering from CH for over a year and after trying SRI's, antihistamines, and acupuncture, I've been using 120mg bid of Verapamil ER and my headaches have come to a screeching halt, and very little presence of shadows either. I hadn't had an uninterrupted night's sleep in memory and it was effective on the first full day of taking it. I know everyone is different, and it hasn't even been a week yet, but so far the results are dramatic and definite. I recommend it.
